Success - and a new WIP.

On October 14th I decided I'd edited my Silk Rope Master's book 6 enough. Wrote a one page synopsis, crossed my fingers, then send the manuscript and the synopsis off to Evernight publishing.

Got the acknowledge email saying they'd recieved it and I would hear back within 12 weeks. So that meant haunting of my email inbox would begin--well in a couple of weeks.

Imagine my surprise when 7 days later I got an email telling me they were accepting the manuscript and would publish book 6!

Later that day I got the contract, signed it, and now it's official. Book 6 of The Silk Rope Masters is going to be published!

Can you guess which Master it will be? Finn or Iain?

It's proved to be a good year.

Evernight have also agreed to published 4 other revised works, along with Melting Her Dom's Heart, that were previously published through Siren Bookstrand. They are Elephants and Ever Afters; Perfect Three; Her Cravings Mastered; and An Artist's Kiss.

So along with Books 5 and 6 of the Silk Rope Masters, they should all be out next year, taking my total of books published to 36!

Never in my wildest dreams would I have guessed when I sent off my very first manuscript that it would be accepted, and yet it was. I'm one of the lucky few who's never had a reject letter and I count myself extremely fortunate. I still pinched myself, hard to believe that I will soon reached the total of 36 traditionally published books.

So now I'm back working on WIPs. The final book in the Silk Rope Masters is proving troublesome. I've written just over 22k words but I'm not happy with what the characters are telling me to write. They need to put their heads together and come up with a better plot. For that reason I've put the manuscript aside for the time being and instead started another WIP! (Not another, I hear you say...lol).

This time, I'm trying something different - a murder! And it will also be the shortest I've ever written. I'm aiming around 20 - 25k. I've gotten most 17k words in and I sent off a copy to my Beta reader who loved what I've written so far.

The Coffee romance also got sidetracked and I've rewritten huge blocks of it. Now it's also been set aside while I investigate my murder!
