Book 6

Well book 6 of The Silk Rope Masters is written - but... Starting the edits now. I've done a couple of edits already, my Beta reader has given the book the okay, now it's time for the big edit. Have almost 67k words, so time to get cracking.

This edit takes the longest as it is the final one I do before I submit it to my publisher. I convert the manuscript from Scrivener into a Word doc then have Word read it to me paragraph by paragraph. I always amazes me how many tiny errors I find doing that. Things like missed words, wrong tense, sentences that are jumbled.

Think it's because I touch type and my head 'writes' the sentences faster than my fingers can hit the keys, even though I can type around 80-90 wpm. (Learned TT at school and my first job was as a typist).

There are only two unmarried Masters left at Silk Rope so which one will this book be? Iain or Finn?
